No.

Agnosticism is the belief that supernatural phenomena (particularly those relating to theology) are either unknown or not able to known.
Atheism is the lack of belief in any god/s (although not necessarily the belief that there are no god/s). These in no way contradict eachother.

no, not at all. In fact, most agnostics are atheists, even if they don't admit it. An atheist is simply anyone who is not a theist (someone who believes in a god). An agnostic is someone who claims that it is impossible to know (at least currently) that a god exists. If an agnostic does not believe in a god then he or she is also an atheist.

so, you can be both. An agnostic atheist, or atheistic agnostic, is someone who does not believe in god because no one can know that one exists.

in fact, if you are not an agnostic atheist, you are an agnostic theist (which is completely possible, of course). An agnostic theist believes that a god exists, even though one cannot know for sure that any do.

see, atheism has a rather specific definition, unlike most religions. You are either an atheist, or a theist. You can't be both, you can't be neither. You either do believe, or you do not.

now, "strong atheism," that's what most people think of when they hear the word "atheist." Strong atheism is when someone positively claims that there is no god, or that god cannot exist. This is different than simply not believing in a god. You cannot be a strong atheist and an agnostic at the same time.

As for myself, I am deathly afraid of dying (See what I did there? ). Being agnostic, and somewhat atheist (if that's possible) and thus not knowing whether or not there is a God, or an Allah, or whatever, dying scares the hell out of me. I could say I'm not afraid of dying, but that's a worthless answer. Most of us that boast about not being afraid would be quick to change their mind once they face cancer or have a gun put to their head. Everyone is afraid of death to a point.

I'm mainly afraid of the afterlife. I am agnostic, so I don't really have a strict belief on any theory. I mean, there's an infinite number of possibilities of what the afterlife is like, one being that the afterlife doesn't exist. The uncertainty kind of drives my fear.

nope, as long as it's not painful (it's mostly the way I die that concerns me) I believe in an afterlife, and am firm in my beliefs so after death doesn't worry me.

Since everyone dies, I'm not too afraid. It's just a part of life. I wish to die in my sleep at an old age. Either that or protecting someone I love or something heroic and sentimental like that.

Afraid to die.. No, not really. I'm afraid that i won't accomplish enough before i die. But i'm not afraid of death itself. Not like frightening death would make you immortal.

Most I've met Catholics don't really care about the word of Christ. They just wake up early on Sundays so they don't have to worry about moral dilemmas.

As long as I can? I guess so. As long as God wills, and not of my own. I've been given a mission to carry out even if I don't act on it a lot of the time. So yes, partially the Great Commission. But also,

As a Christian, I believe that once you die it's just a second and then you forget completely everything and you either go to Heaven or Hell...

probably 60% fear of dying...

What's to be afraid of? The unknown? Nah. I don't want to die, but I certainly don't fear it. I just hope I can do something meaningful with my life before I die. Or as I die.

As is, I'm a christian, so I'm bankin on Heavan. If you atheists are right, it won't matter. If some other religion is right, I lose. I'll take what comes and that's how I live life too.

Well you don't necessarily lose if one of the religions which believes in karmic reincarnation are right.

Jump in front of a train. If God wills, he will save you. Else, it doesn't matter as God wants you to come to heaven - free ticket to heaven!
