Re: Nocturnalism in Humans True , but curable?
Allow me to amend my statement: Without using a variety of external aids (on the order of powerful electric shocks) you cannot keep yourself awake for long enough to do any damage.
Around about when you start hallucinating you'll also start randomly falling asleep. Unless you've got something set up that forces you back awake every time this happens, you'll sleep until you're back to a reasonable approximation of normal.

Dude... just shutup...
I live in Nova scotia Canada... check my last post. See the time I posted at , to the time I am posting at now according to the time zone I live in? It is already late here... I just woke up when the sun set. Just go look at my post and you will see. I don't see how this is anything like homosexuality argument. I am against it. If It was the homosexuality argument , I wouldn't have said , "it's natural and I think I was born with it".

However, this is simply an assumption, but I have my suspicions. As for your issue. Just try going to bed at a certain time until it works .

I don't buy this, it doesn't work as you desbribe it, magusalexandros.
I've been up for something like 3 days, but that awake period was unnaturally created. at the end of it, I had a fever, I saw arms reaching for me through the walls, and I was more or less acting like a crazy person, and at the end, I fell asleep sitting up. |

That won't solve it. his internal clock says it's sleeping time when it's daylight and vice versa. It's something in your head that's making you do this. Brain impulses. It can be fixed. Maybe not in this day and age but it's possible with advanced technology!

Re: Nocturnalism in Humans True , but curable?
LOL, I can sleep whenever I want (or not sleep when I don't want to.) I guess I don't have an internal clock.
I don't know if you've already tried this, but stay up all day, then go to sleep when the sun goes down, and keep doing it until it corrects itself. It might help you to get out and do something during the day, like exercise or go shopping, so you can't go to sleep even if you feel tired. There's nothing wrong with drinking energy drinks in the morning if they work for you. Good luck. |
