Abortion vs. Adoption

I'm neither pro or agianst abortion.

But the reason why people are pro abortion (and I've said this before) is because birth is actually not a good idea in some cases. Like, let's say Aziel gets pregnant. Then abortion must come like swiftly like death upon a salmon at the hands of a grizzly!

No, seriously. I encourage abortions in scenarios that include it being an alternative to a lifetime of physical suffering or immediate death after birth anyway. Like, what's the sense of giving birth if you have AIDS?

HOWEVER, alot of people are anti-abortion simply because people abuse it in order to escape the responsibility of raising a child. "I can't afford a kid". Tough luck *******, go get a batter paying job.

"I don't like kids." Well, in that case you might want to stop having sex then.

M point; there are people that get abortions for NO ****ING GOOD REASON at all.

So both sides are understandable. And both sides are equally ****ing stupid.

There's no law that says that you can't have sex if you don't want kids. It's also completely and utterly STUPID to think that people can magically get a higher paying job with hours that are flexible enough to raise a child. Please, get out from under your rock.

It was directed at people who usually house the belief that "hey, I don't like to use condoms, I don't care enough to get birth control, but when I have sex and get pregnant I cry about it!"

I would now like to expand on a point that I made.

For the record, before my fiancee got pregnant, I was partying, wasn't living with her, worked the kitchen in a restaurant (not so flexible hours in any restaurant) and mostly hung out and bought crap for my car and video games. Aide from bill I didn't really have much of a care. So then she calls me and tell me that I'm going to be father.

at the time, I honestly did not want to have a kid. But now that he was born, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

My mother had her first kid at the age of 17 and was previously homeless and jobless.

So yeah, won't accept "Oh, I'm getting an abortion because I can't afford/don't want a kid" as an excuse.

But stuff like disease gets the TB seal of awesomeness

Not accepting apologies has nothing to do with maturity, accepting all apologies is nothing short of lying, some things can't be forgiven.

All I can tell you is that next time you want to make "jokes" at someone else's expense, you should do so when the subject is not sensitive material, though you shouldn't do it period.

Alot of you just need to learn to laugh at yourselves. The world becomes alot more tolerable when you do this.

eeeeeh, to me it shows a lack of motivation. I couldn't afford a kid a year ago. But I got up and made sure I can afford one when the time was right.

Whereas, abortion simply removes any chance the child will have a bad life, period.

It removes any chance of them having a good life (or any life for that matter) as well. Why do you seem to think that an adopted child is doomed to suffer? There are plenty of people who were given up for adoption/foster care that have and happy and successful lives.

Lets use a simple analogy for this. You are given a puppy for your birthday, and you don't want it. Would you return it to the person who gave it to you, or would you smash it with a concrete brick? Adoption is a infinatly better option, the baby gets to live and the mother doesn't have to deal with it.
