Man Kills Baby to finish a video game :(

Not surprising, a pathology is developping. Games are becoming more and more addictive. I played a mmorpg for a year and a half and. I wasn't human anymore

At the same time, I don't know what else to say. Just throwing all of your frustration on a small child over a video game is pure immaturity. Humans are capable of holding in their anger or managing it through their mind.

He just had a weak mind and immediately reacted on it. That's how humanity just kill kill kill... They just don't think.

How is violently shaking an 18 day old baby and hitting it against the head accidental? That's like shooting at an innocent bystander in a fit of rage and saying: "Well I didn't mean to kill him. I just wanted him to shut up."

I can't say anything about the head-hitting, but I do know that a surprising amount of people are unaware that shaking a baby can cause death. I'm not justifying what he did, but I say that counseling of some sort would be nice. I'm pretty sure that his problems go past "ZOMG MURDER BABIES."

He should be punished, though. We need to not only provide a deterant against such carelessness, but educate others about the fact that applying such force to a young child can be fatal, and that negligence of that sort will be punished.

That is just insane! Some people just go over the lie or probably don't even have one. I mean i know some people are lame enough to think that video games are more important than a baby. But shaking the baby so the crying stops is not going to help.

Shaking a baby damages so much than you can imagine. The rib cage is still extremely soft so the vital organs like the heart, stomach, liver and lungs will be easily bruised and could get damaged to the point that they stop functioning.

The bones in it's socket can get damaged and the brain could slam against the skull as everything is still young and undeveloped.

Its disgusting. He should know better... FAR more better.

It really does just seem like common sense to me, and I guess to you too. They're so frail. But I guess some people don't know these things.

Do videogames desensitize people to violence? Yes. Do they directly cause more violence? Well, thats hard to prove. Trick is to ask the right question.

This thread reminds me that somwhere in Africa, Ethiopia I think, if a child is born with an abnormality/twin, they're thrown out in the wilderness.
