I believe as long as they both consent to it, that its as natural as breathing. As long as both parties I do not see how it harms anyone when practiced right.

Its only unnatural, in my eyes, is if one goes for it while the other doesnt want to. In which case I hope they reconsider having an intimate relationship with them to begin with.

If they both enjoy giving and recieving and it harms no one, how is it wrong? Why should it be wrong?

I do not think it is wrong as long as both consent. Then when one tries they should respect them and stop.

Also if I am not mistaken, Sugar you were the first(or one of the first) to mention Religon when explaining why you believe it to be 'unnatural'. If you do not wish to bring religon into an arguement then simply do not bring it up.

But a topic like this was bound to lead to religon. When you discuss sex, religon is going to be dragged into it. You could just ignore such posts.

But anyways.

As long as both consent, there is nothing wrong with it.

I think it all comes down to, respecting your partner and what they want or don't want. Disrespecting them is what is unnatural.

The majority of these responses greatly surprise me. I thought that, usually as it is with almost any other issue, the Internet community, especially on a gaming forum, would be more mature and not just state whether or not oral sex is wrong, but also give facts, and then answer the actual question asked: "Why is cunnilingus not often discussed?"

I've found a lot of guys are resistant to it. It's disturbing, and it shows that the guys I've heard say they would not be willing are mostly immature. After all, almost all of them endorse fellatio highly.

I think it's ridiculous how society inflicts double standards upon everyone. Fellatio is apparently something to be sought after and enjoyed, and cunnilingus is apparently supposed to be nonexistent.

Well that is simply unfair.

As I stand, at the moment, I wouldn't accept, or give, oral sex, but that is just me, and I can only feel happy for others that get enjoyment from it.

I concur.

I don't really like oral sex. I feel that fellatio is very impersonal and really doesn't do anything for the girl. Its actually pretty gross and degrading, to me anyway. Plus, guys want it but never want to give it. I guess I don't like it that much because it seems a little selfish. And high school guys seem to expect it with nothing in return.

I don't think its unnatural or anything, I just personally don't like it.

It's also not completely safe, depending on your partner. STDs are commonly transmitted through oral sex.

Now for the reasons guys won't give it...its probably all the things you listed. But you have to admit, it is a little gross. I don't think its necessary in a relationship and not nearly as intimate and special sex should be. Of course, we've made that impersonal as well. =/

At least I'm consistent in my stance (see my above post).

But yeah, there does seem to be a lopsidedness to it. And honestly, perhaps a problematic indicator of my society, I'd never thought of oral stimulation of the female genital area before. My only guess is that with fellatio there's more to, er, stimulate, than there is with cunnilingus. That's not to say that it isn't still unfair, though. So I'm inclined to think that couples willing to do one ought to be willing to do the other. Not that they'll pay heed to my opinion or anything, though.

I have thought about it a couple of times and I have never once thought of it as disgusting. In fact it was only just today did I ever consider the idea disgusting. but I suppose it was for a different reason.

But I have never actually considered it disgusting. All I would want to do is please the girl im with. In fact few things I find more enjoyable then actualy making sure a girl is happy.

But now I am getting way to personal. But anyways I just find it odd that I have never really thought of it as disgusting.

But if the girl is willing to do oral sex I have no problem 'returning the favor'

I didn't want to bring it into it, in fact I didn't, but when people insist on understanding why I don't practice it, part of my morals and believes always need to be shared. Its unavoidable... And in case you didn't read, I did explain my reasonings.

In a strange twist of fate, most guys I'm friends with actually like to give oral sex to the woman, including myself. Since those are the people I talk about this sort of thing with, that's all I have to go off of as a basis. I actually find more women I know who I've talked about it with to be more resistant to receiving than men are to giving.

On the other hand, I actually don't really like to receive oral sex. I always feel awkward and uncomfortable because...well, Chelsea already sort of said it, but I find the whole thing sort of degrading. Which I guess is pretty different since I don't find giving to be degrading at all. I won't flat out refuse it all of the time, but I'm much happier just skipping that part if it's used as foreplay.

how wrong ye be! the clitoris has (I forget the exact fact) something like 10 times the nerve endings as the penis.

Let me give a mini-lesson just to clear some things up. If you already know this, please forgive me for preaching to the choir...

Cunnelingus does not necessarily entail the giver inserting his tongue into the vagina. in fact, that really doesn't feel that great =/
Instead, cunnelingus is best when the giver uses his tongue to stimulate the clitoris, which is a little bump about 2 inches above the vaginal opening. it's covered by a little hood of flesh, but when aroused, it gets bigger, just like an erection. in fact, while clits come in MANY sized, if you look closely, they actually kind of look like the head off a penis! If you'll remember, when a fetus is forming, at first, they all have the same parts, then the correct parts grow in. many scientists believe that the clit is a penis "remnant"

either way- that doesn't matter. I'm just trying to point out that cunnelingus isn't THAT gross, since to be most effective, you don't even have to stick your tongue in.

I think it should be discussed more. the more we communicate about it, the more accepted it will be and the more accurate information is available, the more people can actually begin to enjoy it (giving AND recieving)
