I think it is a bigger deal for females that males, because once girls engage in sex, not only is it much more physically invasive, they tend to be affected emotionally much stronger as well. Girls who are sexually promiscuous are generally viewed in a bad light (I myself tend to think of them as "stupid", but for different reasons), and their behaviour leads to them getting taken advantage of when they think that they are getting good attention.

Once you're in marriage, the relationship has more at stake, and the commitment will be naturally stronger than if you are just "dating".

I say, go ahead and do it! Nobody has the right to deny you that. Sex is fun, andf you should be able to experience it as much as you want. That being said, yes, I use it exclusively for pleasure. I will never have children. I want to continue having good sex, I don't want the cost of children, and I don't wan to to contribute to over-population. You can hate me all you want, but this is my two cents. Sex before marriage? Go ahead. Monogamy is like being able to choose from only flavor of ice cream.

What moral implications? Everything else exists with a partner as well.

Hold on, are you talking about in a relationship, or just randomly sleeping around casually, with people who's last names (and perhaps even first names) you don't know?

If so, then what makes it any less immoral just because someone else is doing it with you?

This can be a touchy subject. If two people really feel for each other, not necessarily end all true love either, then it's ok to experiment. When most kids enter puberty and are in it for a while, sex is what they think about it. It's completely natural to do so. I consider it a good thing that a person would rather experiment with some one who they know and trust than just some random dude/chick. If a person can comfortably wait until marriage, then congrats. I commend you. But that's just not how it is in these modern days when sex is so accessible.

Francois: I don't see it as pleasure more of a strenghtehing of the emotion bond.

I feel that sex should be between two people that actually feel strong bonds towards each other. One-night stands and things alike don't usually fit that description, as it's usually meaningless animal pleasure, and we humans should be above that. As long as the couple does feel some sort of genuine love towards each other, I don't care if they're officially married.

This. I've actually had one night stands before and the next day I always felt guilty as hell. Guilty enough to the point to where I would actually call the person and bug the hell out of them apologizing for something they didn't think I had to apologize for.

I would only apologize or feel guilty if I got her knocked up, which I haven't yet.

You're the one who said that one should consider being ready for a kid. Besides, homosexuals can marry in normal states and normal countries, so I believe it's applicable for debate here.

I think it's reasonable to have sex before marriage. To an extent.
The idea of a one-night-stand is very unappealing to me. I'm one of those uncool people that thinks you should only have sex if you're in love. You shouldn't be having it with a random person you picked up/were picked up by at a nightclub.

I agree. I believe it's almost necessary after awhile when in a relationship to see if you're sexually compatible, but one-night stands are a completely different story.

I'm pretty neutral. I probably won't do it until I'm married, because of STD's and such, but I don't really care if other people do it. I don't like the idea of having sex with a diffrent person evey night, unless you are a prostitute by profession. In my opinion, it's less bad, becaue it's your career path, the same way that killing is terrible, but less so if you're a soldier.

I honestly don't see the point of marriage, really. Why in the world would I want to sign a contract locking myself into an institution with one person who I am then expected to live the rest of my entire life with even if it turns out later I don't really like them?

To some it is. And a damn good one at that. I can't say I would support it personally but if it's in a pre-set and safe enviroment with minimal to no risk and that's how you want to make a living, so be it.

Depends on where you are.

Anywhere with legal prostitution it could be quite a viable and potentially lucrative career.
