[Safer] Sofia's Training

Sofia was very tired. She was strolling along a grassy plain as far as the eye could see and the soft, warm breeze was just right. She finally decided to rest. Sofia removed the swords from her waist and put a hand on the Earth Gem in her choker to remove it. Then she stopped. She remembered the time she used the power for the first and last time.

"So this is the Earth Gem" she had said. She had it in her palm and examined it as she walked. It was a bright green gem indeed. She had read somewhere how to use the gem. "I'll try it" she had said with a determined look. She removed the swords from her waist to reduce weight. Sofia attached the gem to her choker and closed her eyes. The key to making it work was focus and concentration. The Earth Gem the then began to glow very brightly. Sofia felt power as it grew even more bright. Finally, large vines sprang from the floor as the Earth Gem grew its brightest! But something was wrong. Sofia felt much pain all over her body! "STOP!" she pleaded. She was down to her knees, her yes shut tight, her arms hugging herself tightly from the pain, and sweating. "Stop" she pleaded, but this time weaker. The vines died down, the Gem stopped glowing, and Sofia was breathing heavily with her arms trembling.

Ever since, she had never used it again. She took her hand away from it and sat on the grass. Finally, she lied down to take a nap. But she couldn't sleep. The thought of the Earth Gem raced in her mind. Soon, she got up, tied her swords back on, on walked on. Sofia was to busy in her mind to see where she was going. Finally, "OW!" she yelled. She had tripped over a stone and scraped her elbow. She looked at the stone, it had writing on it! "Hm?"
"Welcome to the Dome!" it said.
"The Dome? I don't see a-" she said. But then she saw what looked like a stadium! "Whoa, maybe I should check this place out" she thought.

Welcome to the Beginner Class! Alrighty, let's get down to business. First of all, you're going to enter the Dome (which is more like a giant dome-shaped building than a stadium). Once you enter, a Domerii will find you. Domerii are short, pale, humanoid servants of the Dome. They listen to the Dome's every whim, for the Dome knows all the students within it and what training and accomodations that will need. Your character will be found by this Domerii, and it will explain to her the concept of the Dome, and that she will soon be taught by a man named Orysius. The Domerii will then lead her to her room. End the post after entering the room and describing it.

Now, in this lesson, be sure to do a good bit of dialogue between your character and the Domerii, and also describe the surroundings. The Dome looks differently to everyone on the inside, so use your imagination!
