I've made myself a sig on Microsoft Paint but I don't know how to make my sig on ZU. Could someone please help me?

upload it to www.photobucket.com then paste the IMG tag (the one that says [IMG]picture URL[/IMG]) into the place 'Edit Signature' in the User Control Panel (or User CP).

Laola, I noticed that you used Microsoft paint to create the signature image. I'm assuming that means that you saved it as a bmp file, which is not good for Internet use due to the large file sizes. I'd either save the image as a jpg in Paint or find a program that will let you convert the file from bmp to jpg (as the quality that Paint saves jpgs at is, well, not fantastic).

if it doesn't work attach the picture and i'll save it to my computer and upload it then give you the IMG. And to save it as a different type, just open the pic, go to 'Save As' and save it as you normally would, although change the file type. Do what sear said, make it a jpeg file, although i save everything as PNGs.

I think I've attached it, not sure. It's not very good :embrsd:

Ummm, there is no attachment, might wanna try and reupload it. :)

Uh, to attach a file, you need to make a post. If you scroll down, there will be the option to attach a file. Browse and find the file, then choose to attach it.

Everything I try, the computor says it's to large, even when I change the file name.

yes, and even if you did the IMG tag the right way ([IMG] image url[/IMG]) it wouldn't work because it only does URLs not files. Just look what Seary said.

This'll be my last try and if it doesn't work then I just won't bother.

Laola, you can't just put the file path in [img] tags. You have to upload the file to the Internet, after all. ;)

Link303 suggested to use Photobucket to upload your image(s). All you need to do is make an account, upload the picture, and then put the URL between two [img] tags. :)

There is a rather complete explanation of all this elsewhere on the forums, you know.

no, not HTML practice. it sounds fun, but it isn't what you want. Go into your album, and UPLOAD the image.

Ok, create an account at www.photobucket.com , then click on the "upload" button and chose that file. Then Photobucket should give you a link to it (underneath it, there will be 3 in fact, highlight the one that says [img] copy and paste it). Then goto your signiature and paste that. If that doesn't work or you don't understand all of it send me a PM and I'll try and help.
