Signature Portfolio.

This is the start of my portfolio of sig work, from newest to oldest. Any feedback, criticism and praise is most welcome (:

EDIT: All of my newer stuff will be on display in my shop. One day when I think I have enough really good sigs made, I'll redo this to show only the best. I have a lot of beginners looking sigs in here.

Since I've only left room for 30 images, I'll archive the older ones as I hit 31+.

Wow, some of these really suck.

I'm no sig-maker, so you can take my comments as those of a layman.


1.

For this one, it seems like the right side is just too black. I prefer simplicty, but maybe something creative can be done with the empty space here.

I like the way that the background is slightly out of focus and the wolf is clear. I think that it'd be better if the text was also sharper.

Some flowers showing up on the right hand side might work.

The first version of the Tifa sig actually had petals on the right of the sig - that version has them removed >_<

They get better as they go down. I life the KFC one the most. Lol, that one's great.

These just feel a bit too empty.

I love how you blurred the backgrounds. It really gives them depth.

Note that I was trying to get the illusion of depth here, with the strong left and the left blending in more. (I realize it isn't as prettied up as the original, but from a content point of view)

I don't get why nobody understands this >_<. It's my girlfriend holding Piplup. PIPLUP, PEOPLE. And yeah, this is just for me. The photo's quality isn't very good.

Am I the only other person that new that was Piplup from the start? Does that make me a Pokémon geek?

^^^ Apparently so. The two people who've commented on it so far had no idea what the picture even was haha. I don't get it.
