Umi's Portfolio:Views of Another Reality

Greetings, and welcome to my Portfolio. Here I will display a multitude of my works, old and new. Being a Photoshop 7.0 user for 4 years now, I have created many works in a multitude of styles and genres. From Signatures, to Web Design, to T-shirt designs, I have culminated a large gallery of work. This thread will display much of this. Feel free to comment and critique. Both are strongly encouraged.

Large Works:



This was a logo I made incorporating a few different styles to get a smooth, 'classic grundge' look. Personally, I think it looks like a logo for some sort of wine.



My first attempt at digital painting. I have always wished to learned this, and found this piece to be a great introduction in which I learned many valuable bits of information.



One of a set of photomanipulations I created. The scene is of Big Ben, surrounded by water. Perhaps a great flood? I believe manipulations displaying tragedies of commonly known places are facinating, and have a great impact on their viewer.



Similar to the Big Ben manipulation, however more recent. You may notice that many things have been improved since the previous; I believe this to be one of my bests.



I was inspired by a few manipulations of hands on DeviantArt, and decided to give it a try.



Organized crime does inspire the good sometimes. This scene, originally too dark, was made better due to a blue gradient map (a result of experimentation) giving it that wintry, icy look.



Heaven is an intriguing place. Though this piece has its flaws, I believe it all works out in the end to look pretty good.



Another of my favorites, this was created during the recent Joker craze. It has recieved much praise for its use of manipulation and colors, and its unique perspective.



Though an old work of mine, I still find this piece to measure up to my others. I was amazed at what I had created when I was finished, and I honestly still am.



Another that has recieved much praise, and another of my favorites. One of my first attempts in using photomanipulation on a larger canvas.

Your large works are lovely.

Umi, I really don't think it's necessary to have everything at the top of the page. There's a 15 image per post limit, but that's just me whining.

Anyway, you're one of my favorite graphic designers on ZU. I love your large pieces; it's pretty hard to pick a favorite.

Best one, not for the manipulation but for the quality. ^_^
