Anyhow, you're about to witness the transformation from absolute abysmal GIMP fabrication to total graphics Nazi in a matter of a year or two, BE AMAZED. I'f I've omitted any piece of work, it's because even by these particularly terrible standards, I thought it was awful. Just imagine how bad they are when I show you my:

FIRST THREE SIGNATURES EVER



That's it, the first signature I ever made. Ever. I downloaded GIMP and ****ed with it, and that's what I got. Pretty simple, take ****ty background, add render, throw script-fu over it (predator script-fu if I remember correctly).



Hokai, so. I know what you're thinking, "Damn, that's a pretty sweet sig", well you're RIGHT.



Noticing a patter to my earlier methods? Yeah, it gets worse.

So, I decided to ask my friends for material to practice upon.



This was, considering it was my fourth ever attempt, not particularly awful.



I realize now that I had good ideas, but lacked the skill to execute them at all.


I soon fell in love with this render.



Based off of the whole thing where Rukia gets taken and is going to be executed as part of a whole bing bang thang. Very sad. Felt I managed to get the whole "love" theme down pretty well in this one despite an evident lack of sophistication.



I was very happy with this one. It was very red, but I didn't mind. It was a piece of work.

And then I started to get into the swing of things.



This was another practice piece, I think one of the last before I started to open up my own request shop, Tiberius.

My first request was from Prince Deity, and it was sloppy but he loved it (rather, said he did) and became a frequent customer ever since:

WHEN SUDDENLY, OUT OF NOWHERE...

My first halfway decent signature was born:

Then a quick return to failure (made worse by crappy text and a horrible request by our very own Sailboat):



Followed by some winsome transparency art for Josh. Of course, Josh found plenty to ***** about and eventually went elsewhere, but as they say in the business, "**** 'em".



And that's all she wrote for my first sig shop, Tiberius.

Dawn of the Second Day

I made this one, funnily enough, after my first breakup with my most vexing vixen Michelle. More trouble ensued. This is important. Remember this.



Then I discovered that you don't need talent if you just mask every mistake with glow:

Time passes and I discover the most life-changing thing that any sig artist can discover: Photoshop, Custom Suite.



(that's right, one of the first PS sigs I ever made, go ahead and admit that it's ****ing beast)

Interesting fact: I hadn't played Bioshock at all when I had made these and wouldn't for another few months.



Neat sig, but people kept *****ing about not knowing what it was. It was then that I read up on Focals.



Sort of goes hand-in-hand.

It was pretty pro considering when I made it.

Made this for the qualifying round of the ZU Sig Maker's contest, I think. I beat the other dude because I "conveyed more of who Osaka was if you had never seen her before". Good thing too, because I had never seen her before either and just winged it
