Site History*-*Zelda Universe is only an article that tells part of what really happened in Zelda Universe. This on the other hand will leave out no details. With it being made up, the story will have tragedy, romance, and action.

Chapter 1: The Beginning of the Universe and Beyond

Lars had a small site with sections about Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. He got so much support on in that he decided to make a separate site dedicated to the Zelda series. His first idea was to name his new site "Zelda Planet", but "Nintendo 64 Planet" already existed so he thought bigger. "What could I name a site that could gain countless members and fans" thought Lars to himself. Then a giant light bulb popped above his head. He decided to call it "Zelda Universe". At first he had no site skins or content but that did not stop Lars. At first the plan was for the site to have a Norwegian host but then there was a transition to ZeldaGames.com.

The transitition did not work out so well, the Webmaster of Zelda Games was too lazy and would never come on to check everything out. Rumor has it that the Webmaster of ZeldaGames.com was part Hyrulain at the time so he would spend a lot of time acting like one. After so, Lars decided to move again, but this time to Pure Zelda. ZU spent many months there, doing so lead to "Ganon's Tower" and "Zelda Planet" to be on ZU's affiliates list. The Webmasters of the two sites were clearly friendly but, they did have a darker side.

While at "Pure Zelda" Lars bought the domain ZeldaUniverse.net, since then been the main structure of the site. As Lars spends more time on ZU his skills improved by over 60%, and became an expert designer and Webmaster of ZU. The number of members increased, so much so that ZU could not keep up with it at that moment.

The Turing point was when Lars made http://www.zeldauniverse.net/sitedat...tory/v11-1.jpg as the design, which made fans go crazy turning ZU into a big site. After which Scott ZU's first staff member came and made ZU better then it already was.

Using his powers that seemed supernatural. Sophia was busy doing the icons that at first were too blurry and pathetic. After Zephka worked on them so more, the icons helped make ZU what is it today. In 2004 Zephka got gravely ill and had to step down for a while. The illness went away but Zephka was forever changed by it and can only manage enough strength to visit ZU every other year or so. When this was going on Trahald disappeared from the face of the Earth and the internet. Some say that Trahald was taken to an alien mother ship and was probed. Trahald was one of ZU's best article writer, but never returned.

Even though Zephka had stepped down, and Trahald had disappeared from the surface of the planet, Zelda Universe couldn't linger in the loss of two great staff members. We then turned to one of the only staff members left....Scott. Scott is also known as "Kokiri Kid" because he used to live in the woods and eat nothing but berries for days at a time. With Scott's new rank, ZU became less of a zombie. Scott made ZU's "Behind the Rupees" section which was a weekly column.

Lars then combined his power with Scotts to once again charge up the site. A new version of ZU was then launched. Members were blinded by their newbie-ness and could not tell how big this new change was. Every part of the site was redone, and new Staff were brought in.

Around the marking of ZU's fourth birthday, Jason came along to be added to the Staff member list. No one knows why his nickname was "GoldenChaos " but just the sound of the name made most people tremble.

Chapter 2: The Great Turn Over


In June 2005, Lars decided to move on to things that are bigger then the universe. He then sold it to Lee who was rich and could easily buy out Burger King. Jason and Scott continued to work on the site until Jason retired in January 2004. In April 2006, James (aka Lozzie the evil teddy bear) joined the Staff to be Scott's slave and help him on the site.

In July of 2006, Lee decided that his attention towards Zelda Universe was dwindling and decided to sell the site. Yusuf bought the rights to ZU and worked to make ZU the best it could be. Scott remained as the webmaster, with James filling in the gaps on news and features like the evil teddy bear slave he is.

September 2006 saw news galore on the Nintendo front, including the upcoming release of Twilight Princess and a change within the Staff members. Leminnes, helped provide a new site layout that you see today. The site continued normal operation through the Wii launch and Twilight Princess Release, adding all the information one could possibly need on the game.

In Late 2007, Jason returns to Zelda Universe. Jason then had to take a recomission. James and Scott made Jason work out all bugs that were on the site and type over 10 articles. After which Jason was made Webmaster again and took a long break. Yusuf declared that the site was not for sale and so ZU is what it is today.

Jason returned to Zelda Universe in order to help the continued operation of the site, reassuming his old webmaster position, and in August of that same year purchased ZU from Yusuf and declared the site not for sale, once and for all. He has many plans in store for ZU, all of which he hopes will keep ZU's future looking bright as ever!

Little mistake there mate. It was Jason who purchased ZU from Yusuf AND declared the site was not for sale.

Aw, I was really excited to read the title and blurb, and this cOUld have been really fun!
That is to say, you miss out a lOT of information simply because you weren't here for it,. having joined so late ^___^

There is sO much drama, sagas and .. so very many fun historical tragedies and romances (romantic tragedies? xD) that have happened that ... bah! I really want to start up the interactive "ZU Chronicles" thing now :<

But, maybe you're just aiming for the site-related side of things, zelda ninja? ^____^

however, if he cLAims and means for it to be "the history of ZU" then that can never be done just by one person alone :p
And cERtainly not by someone who's joined recently, alone.

I know I missed some info. I will put the Capn's take over in the stroy as well. Since I only been here since late 2007, I missed what happened in 2002-most of 2007. I guess I will have to change the chapter title to what happened next. Ok, lets start after Jason owned ZU.

It was his brother, apparently... but then again I seem to recall him either A) getting his brother to do it or B) pretending to BE his brother....

There are those wise in the Lore of ZU who recall it better, I'm sure :0P We could always check the old chat logs--I'm sure that it was discussed a lot, then. Maybe even the old Staff sections have some threads about it.
