Short poem about recent events

[Lord Westcott]

Long time have I been of this place,
But now I find it a disgrace,
This April Fools joke went too far,
And many threads irregular,
Suddenly were here and there,
Here and there, and everywhere!
Spam, abuse, pornography,
Appeared where ZU used to be,
The so-called staff, they were the worst,
Fighting to satiate their thirst,
For chaos, hatred, discontent,
Now the site I do lament;
What the hell is wrong with you?
What has become of our ZU?

Well, I would've been, but then people continued the debate in GCC. And then I got flamed again and again, and then misquoted as saying Jason told me this was a joke (when I actually said A webmaster confirmed what I already knew), and then that thread got locked before I could respond. So I'm pretty much incensed.

And I may end up getting banned anyway soon.

I think he's referring to the fact that he betrayed the trust of whichever webmaster told him about the April Fools, which he would obviously have been told to keep quiet. So it's the real mods he'd have to look out for.

^ Yes I was. A few different people told me and it was later confirmed by a webmaster. But after the way I had been treated on the now erased Series of Tubes forum, I was firmly of the opinion that this had gone way beyond a joke now, and not in the mood to keep the secret. Of course, it is up to individuals to believe or not, but we'll all know one way or another at some point anyway, won't we?

Seriously though, I pretty much agree with this, cap'n and his buffoons went to far, not that I really expected anything else. Oh well, I had fun watching everyone run amok.
