A Hero Emerges

Hey guys, this is a poem I just wrote recently titled, "A Hero Emerges". Anyways, tell me what you think about it. Any feedback is appreciated. I have more poems I can post, if I can find them. Ok, enjoy!

I am solemn by the morning’s kiss,
Soft nips against my cheeks,
A golden sun like an apple dipped in honey,
Stoops low to greet the land,

Nestled in a womb of azure sky,
It sits, adoring in awe its heavenly altar,
The passing of birds,
And the ebbing of clouds,

So obscure the enigma of day,
The passing of light,
And the coming of dark,
Two opposite sides of the same coin,
Yet very alike,

Destiny abound on this beautiful day,
A predetermined fate has befallen me,
Where my heart will lead me,
Only time can tell,

A hero emerges!

And then here is another which is similar to the other one in meaning. It is titled, "A Hero's Calling".

A Hero’s Calling:

I hear the call,
Bitter and sweet to my ears,
The great bow of Hylia sang,
Shrill went the arrow from the silver string,
As it plunged through my enemy,

I hear the call,
The ground is laced of crimson,
My heart beats as one with the Beating
Of my steed,
With sword to my right and shield to my left,
I take my lead to the eaves of battle,

I hear the call,
The passing of winter,
The coming of spring and the heat of summer,
Time has no meaning; only duty,
Yet what does it prove when all comes to ruin,

I hear the call,
The gentle breeze of a golden morning,
And the lonely silence of a murky night,
I hear the call,
That which is bright and true,
The path of a hero is paved with
Sorrows old and new.

I feel your sadness, Link101. My poetry isn't getting any crit either and I've been waiting all week. >.>

Anyway, I like these poems. They're very good and have a nice flow. Though I personally prefer rhyming poems, these are good enough without the rhymes. I encourage you to keep writing! :]

Oh, thanks guys. That was a fast reply. Well, anyways, as usual thank you. Btw, in case you haven't seen, which you might allready have, I've started a fanfiction titled DarkLight. Here's the link if you wish to read it, but don't feel pressured to, I promise you won't hurt my feelings. I actually have a good number of people interested in it now, so I'm not complaining.

Awww, no one likes my poems? I was hoping to get some critiqing(not sure if that's how you spell it). Oh well, I'm still up in the threads.

I should've suggested a most unoticed poet award. I'm sure we'd both qualify for that!
