The Light Guardians
Book one of seven
The Legend begins


Chapter one: Destiny is found
The fire crackled and danced in the moon light, as the twenty men assigned to watch the town sat around the fire. “Ahh the tales of old fascinate me I could tell you loads of tales and legends of this land we live.” Said Frink a smart and fierce fighter who was the leader of the group and Gordon’s sensei “Tell me the founding legend please, wont you?” asked Gordon “Certainly.” Replied Frink. “ It all started with the Eight original Gurus whom created the land and stars, but as time grew on the eight began to disagree four of the Gurus thought that a war should be brought to the land

and monsters to be created. But the other four knew only peace and kindness. Then came the war the Gurus battled hard and as the good ones prevailed the other four behind their backs, sent monsters into the world. When the other four found out they banished the four evil ones as they are called now into a realm of pure light that was supposed to keep them held for all eternity. After they were sealed the other four Gurus began to cleanse the world but they needed help.


They called upon eight Guardians of light to lock up the Seven Deadly Beasts that inhabited the seven sacred temples, when the seven Guardians succeeded in their job the Gurus gave them the task to guard the temples and to keep the darkness out. But then came Gurange an evil king that was influenced by the Evil ones and set out to kill the Guardians.

The king’s bidding was done and the light was captured the Gurus called upon one last Guardian to do the Gurus divine whim. He succeeded and sealed away once again the sealed away the Seven Deadly Beasts.” “Wow that is better every time.” Replied Gordon, “Ha! That is a long tale you know quite well Frink but it is a history lesson not a tale it is true.” Retorted Buran a big strong man who wore only bear pelts, and used an axe. “ Gordon this is true you are the Messenger of the Gurus your ancestors were all Messengers of the Gurus and now evil has returned to this land and has sealed away all the Light Guardians once more, his name is Lanventa. He has succeeded in the trapping of the Guardians and has freed the Seven Deadly Beasts and has sent monsters into the world only you as the Messenger of the Gurus can stop him.” Frink said sweat rolled down his brow, Gordon knew he was being serious. “Wow what about the legendary sword and shield I need?” asked Gordon, “I have them in my tent go and grab them.” Gordon ran to Frink’s tent his mind racing with questions like “why me.” And “ How come you never told me before?” but first thing was first get the sword and shield.
