this is a song i wrote for my band, it's called "Old man"

Old man, look at my life, look at the truths and look at the lies, look at the cowards that run and hide behind you. Old man, look at my face. look at my station, look at my place, all of the convection and all of the waste around you. Old man, what have i done, where will i go and where have i gone, what has become of the prodigal son that loved you? Old man, so many words, so many happy and so many hurt, so many letters to worlds we've never been to. Old man, how should i love, should I take action or rest in the mud, or should i just simply feel her blood run through me? Old man, how should i live, should i observe or should i enlist, the aid of golden soilders rest below me.

Old man, polish my shoes, press my shirt and sing me the blues, you know i've got to look real cool, for family. Old man, make a hole in his belt, his waist is thin and he's needin' some help, with demons thatyou said you would fight for him. So the young man walks on his own, with memories to carry him home, to blood and booze and wonderful times without you. But now and then you'll play him a song, and he wont feel quite as prolonged, to see your reflection in waters ever-fruitful.
