hylianprincess7's poem/song lyrics

This is a poem/song i did.... actually my first that had to do with Zelda. i consider it a song because i made it into a song on my keyboard. personally, i think it still needs some work, but i don't know where. i'm still trying to figure that out. anyway, here it is.

Long ago in my fair land, there was a legend told. A legend of a young man great, as gentle as was bold. In years now past he sought out seven sages. A will held strong by the mark of the courageous. Blessed by the goddesses, a young man on a journey, in search of what by legend is this story...

A traveler he was, from field to city. He only seeks the wise of the golden three.
He knows his real journey has not yet to begin. He seeks a friend whos legend has no end.
From the peaks of the mountains, to rivers of sand, he sought, and he sought all over the land. To this day he still seeks her, but does not understand, why he has not tread upon her land.

Fight for darkness, fight for light, only you will know what's right. Fight for praise and fight for glory, only you can mend this story now....

Well, that's it. i like it better as a song though. any comments or suggestions? what do you think?

That's good!! Just find the right chords on the keyboard. Start with C major, then work your way threw.

ok, well then here's another one that i made today.

A hero stands in darkness, awaiting full moon's rise.
Filled with saddness and avengence, you can see it in his eyes.
Some may never know how he stands so strong,
but he walks a path of courage, and thus he does no wrong.
A wittness of pure evil, he swears now to protect
all who stand for pureness, for justice and respect.
A good man he has been, and always he will be
a fair and caring leader in our future's history.

the darkness is supposed to be the twilight, and wolves like to howl at the full moon so that's where i got the idea for the line "a hero stands in darkness, awaiting full moon's rise."

alright! how about this one? ( i know it's not as great as the others, it was real noisy in the room while i was writing it, so it was hard for me to concentrate) here goes.....

I hold a sword of courage, and a sheild to block the wraths.
The wraths of the impure that should obstruct my path.
Like a sickness gone uncured, I must not turn my cheek
from the evil in this world while saving those so weak.
A strong heart I must have, if I wish to proceed,
saving innocence in danger. it's for them i will bleed.
I depend on nothing but courage alone, and it is not faulty, it is mine to own.


I don't think that one was anywhere near as good as the others, but since it was about Link, I just decided to post it. any suggestions on how to make it better?
