My poems

This is a poem i wrote about 2 weeks ago. it's pretty good.

Sour Apples

One man wanders the lonely road
Hoping for change
Another man seeks his one true love
In the world full of pain

One child is pleased by simple needs
Playing with a leaf
Another child is complicated
His life dictated by a chief

If one of these were to help you
Tell me, who would it be?
If you pick the sour apple
Please Don’t help me!

The end

This is my first poem \/

The wind of Today the door of Tomorow

Today
A wind blows
It blows through the hill tops
Through the tallest of trees and onto the rest of the world

The wind falls
It is falling through out time until
A door

The door opens
A glaring light appears
The wind is sucked down into the door below

Only light remains
The earth frozen
Frozen in time
For the years to come
There is nothing
But desolation

The end

Untitled

If blood were spilled
Into the Darkened Sky
If an animal were chilled
It would not be I

If the day where humanity were slain
Because of the imperfections
If we were all in pain
Just because of deceptions

I would be in a place
Far away from here
Not beating a race
But giving someone a mere smile to warm there day.

please post what you think! :p bad ending on the last one though.. i couldn't think of anythihng else

Re: My poems

These are great poems! Sour Apples is simple but contemplative. The wind of Today the door of Tomorow has very beautiful metaphors. Untitled is optimistic, and I think the ending is well-written, anyhow. Stretching out that line feels like you're holding on to the warmth and happiness, longer than the darkness.
