A poem I wrote
How love used to be
I still can’t figure it out. Love was said to be simple, Not complicated. It was said to enjoyable, Not painful. The heart chooses who you love, Not you. I’m sure people have trouble here. You think you love someone, When it’s only friendship. I’m sure you’ve been hurt too, When the person you love loves someone else. They’ve lied to you, Said it’s only you. After one bad experience you don’t let anyone as close. They might share stuff with you, Let you in. However, you say simple things. You don’t let them in, For fear of being hurt. I too have been there. I was lied to, hurt. Usually when you’re hurt, You cry a lot. I did this too. You probably get depressed. I’ve had that happen too, Because of this I feared love. I used to think love only brought pain, But then I met you. You showed me a different side to it. Like how love can be sweet, Not bitter. Thanks to you, It’s not hard to let anyone in.

Re: A poem I wrote
That is a very sweet poem, from what I can glean from it. There was only one (maybe two) grammatical errors, but that's no problem, I frequently misspell in my poems! Haha. It was sorta hard for me to get the ending properly, since you seem to be forwarning readers (just how I read it) then you are speaking to a direct individual. But a second reading made it a lot easier. Anyway, you should post some more!
