I agree wit Arami, on both things. Remember, you shouldn't be negetive about your work. You said you write books, not poetry. I think you can write good poetry if you keep at it.

Ah I see you're giving poetry a go^^. Hey- it wasn't as bad as you think. If I gave poetry a go, it would turn into something like : "the cat is a fat and sat on the mat" kinda thing... So keep going and post more of your stuff

I'll disagree with you there. I'd say you're doing pretty well for yourself. But if you think it's bad, just keep at it - after all, you can't improve without practice.

Then again, I write stories, so what do I know about poetry?

Well right now I can't think of anything as deep as I WANT the poems to be, and my stories are WAAAAY to long to type and put on here. I just want a more in depth poem that really speaks to people rather than just being good, if you know what I mean.

Thats way better than I write the top four lines in your second poem sounded extremely familiar.

Familiar? Well it might have like the same beat or somethin' cause I just made that up. And, yes, it does kind of sound familiar to me, too, but I SWEAR I just made tht up.

Hm...I'm not too sure about that last poem you posted, but the one before it was good. In the wind one, the last verse jarred a bit, as well as the last line of the verse before it, but other than that, it was great. I think I agree with Rhea's sentiment about it, though.

Do you mind if I keep a copy of some of these?

Like I said at the end of the last poem, it sucked and I don't know why I wrote it.
It jars if you read it a certain way. You just have to set the right beat for it.
Go ahead, as long as you don't go telling people that it's YOURS and stuff. Not sure why you would WANT a copy of it, anyways.....

Oh, you'd be surprised. And don't worry, I don't go in for plagiarism (sp?). I might possibly use one or two in a fic sometime, but only with your permission.
