My Poetry Needs Attention

I just wanted the word to get out on my poems and to see thoughts on them because nobody really visits that section of ZU:

Lullaby
When darkness falls and the moon is high,
That's when I hear the lullaby
It rings out like a silver bell,
And that's when I know all is well
The mystical everlasting notes
Comfort my soul and bring me hope
The sweet clear voice brings me love and delight.
Like an angel whispering in the night
Each night as I lay,
The song warms me, like the sun's rays
And when I feel I'm about to cry
I think of my song, my lullaby

Time
The flow of time is always cruel
Its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it
A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days
It is something that grows over time
A true friendship
A feeling in the heart that becomes even stronger over time
The passion of friendship will soon blossom into a righteous power
And through it, you will know which way to go
Time passes, people move
Like a river's flow it never ends
A childish mind will turn to noble ambition
Young love will become deep affection
The clear water's surface reflects growth

KEEP HOPING
If the bleak road of life is covered with soot,
And the weight is too heavy to bear,
Just keep up the bubble of hope in your heart
And keep telling yourself "I'll get there."
Because if you lift up your face to the sky,
To shout your defiance of wrong,
The sweet rain of life will fall onto the ground,
The trail won't be this cold for long.
If everything beautiful's dying around you,
Death may be tempting your heart.
If you take the easy way over the right,
Your world will burn in the dark.
Don't stray from the path of the golden sun,
This road is the only way.
If you're faithful to life, as the Earth itself turns,
The dim night will transform into day.

I think I like "time" the best. Hmm...dunno why, just the flow of words. Cause time IS evilly cru-el

Keep Hoping is also quite interesting and inspiring. YAY! Please have more, I like this.

Your poems are excellent. They have this, this 'sense' about them.

These poems are lovely. ^^ I loved the final two lines of 'Lullaby', and 'Time' was elegant. But my favourite was 'Keep Hoping'; it flowed like a song, in my mind.
