School Poetry

This is basicly poems that my English teacher made me write...enjoy

The Dog From Kowloon
There was an old dog from Kowloon
Whose head looked just like a balloon
He went to the zoo
And just had to coo
And he got eaten up by a baboon

Pete, Pete, Nose and Feet
There was a young fellow called Pete
Whose nose was as big as his feet
When he went to sneeze
He gave quite a wheeze
And covered his house and the street

Ka-Grang
There was an old man from Ka-Grang
Who heard a ratle and a bang!
He looked through a crack
And saw quite a pack
And got kicked out by the big awful gang

Oh No Me Shoe-lace Broke
I'm sitting on the pavement
Thinking what to do
Me shoe-lace is broken
And it defiantly will not glue.

I'm thinking how to fix it
So people will not gape
I don't have string or staples
Or even sticky tape.

I think I will have to go to school
With all the smiles, s******s and sneers
People will defiantly laugh at me
But this is just one of me fears.

Oh, limericks? Quite witty! The last one was humorous as well. You have engaging rhythm and rhyme, and a host of imaginative situations.

Thanks, I'm a musician so I guess that goes with rythm anyway this is a poem called a Character Poem and is about a person (me)

People call me Chubb-dog or Book-worm
I like computers but I also like books
My favorite food is kransky or pasta
I make graphics on the computer
I draw
I like hippy music like John Butler trio and Ben Lee
I also like Powderfinger
I like The Simpsons and Futurama
I make comics
I am 14
I have 3 siblings
I hate maths and love SOSE
