I decided it's time for me to make a new thread for my original writings.

I've done a bunch of original stuff. I'll start with some poetry. This first one is my favorite so far. x3

Heroic Love

As I sit there in my endless dreaming
My visions of love seeded then bloomed
A memory of my one beloved is teaming
Heroic love, I quote it is

She shed her grief upon the well
In the village of my warming birth
I felt her saddened heart as mine I tell
Heroic love, I quote it turns

A frown of grief that never died
Until her heart softened my mind
The bond prevailed, to keep it I tried
Heroic love, I quote it takes

Destiny's journey came to an end
She took the way of the golden blade
And departed my soul, grief would blend
Heroic love, I quote it comes

Time blew away, her face even more
When she heroicly shed an evil's blood
Her footsteps led home, to me I did implore
Heroic love, I quote it mends

Then a day where my steed is mounted
I hear the cry that's cue for trouble
Malevolency found her, on my blade I counted
Heroic love, I quote it sees

A day was ending with twilight so pure
I take her hand in a courtyard of flora
Our hearts shed love with a kiss obscure
Heroic love, I quote it is

And that's that. This is about a pair of characters I've created and developed for my Zelda fanfiction. The man is the one narrating it, if you didn't notice. XD Next...

The Moonlight Stallion

The first star shows in the dusky sky
Upon the oak tree rests the wise owl
Across a mighty plain goes a stallion by
Luna's cup fills to the tip in ongoing motion

The stallion gallops on hooves so brave
A venerable mane flows gracefully in the wind
When the light of Luna shines the crave
Need the stallion no more a blind feel

A star peeks over the nearest hill
Moonlight's adventure reaches above
The stallion atop so boldly until
A trusient call sets him afoot in the wind

The lush forest, green with delight
Exultingly thrives upon the living beauty
The howl of a wolf to Luna in sight
Makes the stallion's cue to race beyond

The stars soar above in the sky so dark
Luna shines down upon all without shine
Until clouds approach, a tempest to mark
Heeding the action the stallion flees

Rain pours around by the raging wind
The seas uncalm in tyrannizing fear
Luna's moonlight of shine long had thinned
Thunder and lighting emptied the land

No creature stood on forest ground
The stallion was left, courage at heart
In the dark of its fur drip drops without sound
Its mane, so drenched, followed the wind

Then Luna's light commenced to break
The rain and its might slowed in a state
Of peace and calm weather for creatures awake
Luna's light shines bright with the stars

Our stallion gallops again so far
Across plains of fauna and flora alike
With Luna's moonlight and light of the star
The moonlight stallion rears with elegance

I love horses. <3

This next one was for my boyfriend, Darius Andreas, as a birthday present in 08 I believe. He was only my best friend then.

A True Friend

A great experience brings me joy
When a true friend's calling makes its toll
This benevolence takes many forms with us
In each and every way we play a role

The days we meet are days we cherish
You never fail to bring a smile
The way you make my heart grow joyous
Laughter fills my heart and goes a mile

We work together in many ways
To make and grow our lasting bond
And make ideas become reality
This is such of you that makes me fond

A true friend to me is what you are
It's a bond that shall never tear apart
Whenever fright should fall to us both
I'll be there with you, right at the start

I feel sympathy if you have a pain
I'll help you make it through your respite
Again you're vivacious, my smile returns
To see your bright face, it's truly a sight

Whenever I'm down, you're always there
My mind, my heart, or right in discourse
Sadness fades and the cheer prevails
Our friendship is an omnipotent force

I very much value your deferential ways
Look upon you, I do with great pride
Inspiration comes forth like a wolf does howl
Your examples set shall give me a ride

My friendship with you shall never efface
In my eyes you're forever a great star
How lonesome I'd be if you weren't there
A true friend to me is what you are

Now I know it isn't Christmas, but I can't forget this last one.

My Christmas With You

The snowflakes fall ever so fast
Crystals sparkle with wind in grace
Each tiny light hung and bright
Oh I shiver in this cold place

And there you are in front of me
To hold me close like never before
Above us hangs the mistletoe
If we see it, we can see more!

When my lips are there upon yours
My heart grows warm like the warm summer sun
Don’t yet let go, I love you so
Here my love will never shun

Your embrace makes me ever so warm
While cold frosty snow blankets the porch
The wreath on the door and the Christmas tree
Bring joy that burns brighter than a torch

Now we go in to say good night
The fireplace warm with a burning flame
Now your next kiss I cannot miss
My Christmas with you is joy all the same

I did something new with my rhyming scheme in this one. I made the third line in every other stanza have an internal rhyme. Neat, huh? I made this while imagining myself kissing Darius under a mistletoe lol.

Next I'll post some song lyrics. That is, once I get some comments.

Wow and artist and a poet, amazing! Your very good from what I've read so far.

Yeah, I've been told poetry is my biggest gift. I'm a gifted child, so. (a kid who has an extaordinary talent in some area like math or art or music is a gifted child)

I also write fiction. I want to be a writer. x3

Oh man, I forgot about this thread. Nobody commented like I was waiting for, apparently, so I'll go ahead and post something not in this thread yet. These are lyrics to a song I created to go with my Zelda fanfic, The Hidden Powers. It's Kelli's Song, the melody (as well as theme) of the character Kelli.

As you can see, they tell a bit of a story. I'd give the music too, but I haven't recorded it yet in anyway. I'd really rather play it on something than sing/hum it as well.

Nifty I used to spend HOURS composing music in mario paint, never tried the composer though. I imagine it's cooler cuz you can do all the notes and bigger chords.

I'll reply to your comment here. Yeah, I was going for something kinda like that because Kelli is, for awhile, a mysterious character whom not much is known about. Her theme/song, as a result, is mysterious and eerie, kind of like what you'd hear in a dungeon or cave. And like Saria, if Link plays the song on the ocarina (first six notes, which would be Left C, Down C, Right C, Left C, Down C, Right C in OoT or MM), he can talk with Kelli.

Yeah...I sorta lack comments on stuff here, it seems. Well, for now I'll post some Serenade of Water lyrics I made awhlie back and then edited.

Well, I like writing song lyrics, so I'm in progress of writing some for my favorite song, Ike's Theme/Eternal Bond. They're not finished yet, but here's what I have so far. :]

Okay! I've finally completed my lyrics for Eternal Bond/Ike's Theme. Here I'm trying to mix in Ike with an eternal bond. :3 The lyrics are supposed to talk about Ike's bond with his work as a mercenary and his wanting to protect Crimea as well as Queen Elincia.

And here's my video! Yeah, I suck at the song, but I wanted to do this so bad.

For some reason though, the music gets softer and my voice clip got louder. Couldn't completely fix that. I never had either set to fade in/fade out either.
