Two poems by KStve (and maybe more later (= )

I wrote two poems yesterday morning and decided to share them with you all. Any opinions?

The Lion and the Bumblebee

The lion and the bumblebee were never meant to be,
But due to their stubbornness, they became King and his bee.
The lion roared for his love, "For you, my heart cannot be tame,"
But the bumblebee just bumbled there a little small, a little lame.

The lion roared to his wife, "For you I could move the sea,"
Her eyes lit up, she loved her lion, that little, little bumblebee.
Her smile so loud was not enough, "What good is it for me?
If I sing to her all the songs of the wind, will she ever see?
Her silence will tear through the art of my love for all eternity,
How do I know that she loves me, that stupid, little bumble bee?"

And just has the word slipped from his lips, black clouds filled the blue sky,
The rain began to hit the floor, and Bumblebee began to cry.
The valley that the kingdom knew shortly started to flood,
The stubborn king and his court jester-wife began to sink in the mud.
Bumblebee could not move, dying of a heart ripped in two,
The king, the lion, had no idea what for her he could do.
"I love her always until the end!" realized a moment too late,
He closed his eyes and breathed his last and floated away in fate.


Always Beyond the Glass
You're always there for me,
never here for me,
forever a metaphor away.

What is this glass that separates our friendship?

If we could be together for just one day,
the beauty would last forever.
And at night, if I get cold,
I'll wrap myself in your blanket.

You're my friend and you're here, just beyond the glass,
You're here so close; you're so far away.

Never leave my side.

They are both very awesome!

I loved the first one, absolutely loved it! I think it's such a cute little story, for some reason, everytime I read bumble bee I wanted to smile.

The second one is also very powerful even though it's so simple. I like the way it's written.

I just think that you have a very powerful way of putting words. I like the way you put your stuff together, and even though it's so quick and short, it's so much more than that. I love love love them.

I really hope to see more soon,
I think that would be nice.
Feeling lucky that i even know you
I think I should roll the dice.
With a seven on one
and an eleven on the other
I see that I'm a winner,
Cause I'm your ZU brother!
Now get that pen and paper too
cause I want to see you write!
Can't wait for more, to come from you
Your stuff is out of sight <3
