The Judgement Of the Righteous

This is a rather dark one. Not really a poem as such, their actually lyrics i wrote for one of my songs for my band.

Still i doubt anyone will guess what its about! 10 points if you do lol!



Judgement is passed
With painless ignorance
A lack of understanding
Things beyond my control

Dull aches
Manifest fears and joys
Whispers in my mind
Tick, tick

The bastard son of
Sin and virtue
Humour
Will devour me

And when the whores
Of hollow empathy meet
Judgement will be passed

Because this is the judgment of the righteous

Tick, tick, break.

Try a faithless denial
Of your pre condition

It’ll always whisper
You could no more evade my wrath
Than you could your own shadow

And the judicators
Of subjective
Right and wrong

Will pledge their undying loyalty
Their fervent backing
Held together by an empty oath

Will never see that inside
You’re in pieces
A thousand shards of
Misguided anger and pain

After all the anger
After all the confusion

One forgets their illness
And a pathetic cure is found

Nice, I like it but I do suggest actually either making the font a different color or keeping it at the default. It's hard to read using the blue skin.
