Well, I'll have to disagree with you there, since just last week I had a call with seven people in it.

Also, I LOVE my voice, and would love to throw it out there into this whatever-it-is.

Ah, I must have been misinformed. Even still, I think having more than five could cause quite a bit of chaos and confusion, with that many people all going at once. Maybe for special occassions there could be more than five at once, but I feel like for regular ones five should be a maximum to prevent some serious confusion. But we could always try and see how it goes.

I'm probably going to try for host, once I can get something recorded.

Re: Naaaa Na nana NaAaAAaA! The ZU Podcast

Does the podcast have a solid name yet? I've read the thread and it doesn't look like it so I'll see what I can come up with.

ZUcast(this one was suggested near the top of the thread by Anime_Queen I think....) it would work, tis a bit simple though. Something with some kind of Zelda reference would be better, like Mastercast, Voice of the Goddesses, or A Sage Speaks. Something along the lines of The State of the Universe might work too. It just depends on what kind of vibe you're going for.

EDIT: A question: What site should I use to upload audio files?

Re: Naaaa Na nana NaAaAAaA! The ZU Podcast

I don't know if this will help at all, but, here is an example a great podcast. It also talks about several podcasts and there mistakes.

I'd also like to add that the idea of a ZU Podcast is awesome.

Re: Naaaa Na nana NaAaAAaA! The ZU Podcast

Ok, so am i confused or are other people confused ?----

I noticed some people expressed concerns that with time zones and stuff, our hosts may have to be up at odd times, depending on where they live, to do this podcast. Now- I never for a minute thought that this was going to be a live show! partially for those exact reasons, and partially because I don't really see the difference it would make if it was live or not. I mean, it would be easier if it was NOT live, and just pre-recorded, sonce we are all scattered around the earth! and I don't see any real gain or plus-side to it being live.
clarification, please?

Margar, how about the fact that if it's live, we can have a conversation, which is what podcasts are all about? o_O

Re: Naaaa Na nana NaAaAAaA! The ZU Podcast

It doesn't have to aired live, but it's more fun hearing people interacting with eachother than hearing one and one person speak

yes yes.... well, I figured that the hosts and whoever else might be speaking in the podcast could do their thing together through skype at whatever time is convenient for them, and record it, THEN send it to me, where I stick it in with the rest of the stuff and package it up. That way they can still have a conversation with each other because they WILL be talking with each other. That will eliminate the problem of having the broadcast go down live at 4 am for people, you know what I mean?

Re: Naaaa Na nana NaAaAAaA! The ZU Podcast

The hosts, and any segments that have more than one person participating, will of course have their parts recorded together, so that they are actually interacting, having real-time conversation. It won't be live, of course, because that would be much more tricky in terms of getting the whole podcast with all the different segments running without any flaws; and I honestly have no idea how it'd be done anyway.

The conflict of time zones can be dealt with when we actually have our hosts, and when the issue arises. There should, with any luck, be a convenient time for anyone who happens to be hosting it, or for those who are doing guest-hosting or interviewees and the like.
