I'd care..

I wrote this for Cortana for her Birthday, and I decided to hold it back since it was for her only, but now I think I can share it. Hope she doesn't mind.

There were times I’ve seen things in a blurry mist
Wondering those who can understand could exist

But there you are with an open arm
Away from all my thoughts in harm
My touch is cold, but I’m not afraid
By presence, no longer am I to fade

With every day I’m stuck with you
I know they’re special, in every way true
With all those days we laugh with jokes and comfort for pain,
(And the days we complain of rain and campaign)

Being here with me without end,
I will always know you as a perfect friend
And to show that, there is much on paper I simply can’t display
But what I can do is wish you a Happy Birthday

I hope to make my next one on a story I'm writing for the past year now. It's bound to be good.
