[Fan] The Reality of Person (T)
Inspired by the Nazi regime of Germany (no worries, no cliches here. At least, I hope not.), and "Lord of the Flies". It will deal with humanity, and what makes someone human. It is 1st person style, from the point of view of someone who once caled himself Yenin. It is set in the far future - I suppose I could add the Sci-Fi tag, only it doesn't feel like Sci-Fi as I write it. It is very much a work in progress - most of what is written will probably be heavily re-written. Bleh, I'll just get on with it:

I'm kinda confused as to why you didn't just copy-paste this into this topic, but whatever - your choice.
![]() It's interesting, though confusing at this point. But then, it's going to be like that until we return to where you began the story. One thing I'm wondering is: How did the rebels only have sticks and stones against the laser guns, but also have a giant army of clones? You'd think that they'd be able to have better weaponry if they can create clones. That might become apparent later, I suppose. Either way, I'll keep reading this to see what happens. Farorians have to look out for each other, after all. ![]()

Re: [Fan] The Reality of Person (T)
That is a large part of the story. That is all they really have - a massive human army. Somewhat similar tactics to the ones the Russians used against the Germans in WWII - just keep sending men until they run out of ammo, or in this case clones. Of course, the ethical ramifications of this make up a large part of what is planned to be Part II, but that won't be for a while yet.
It's not copy and pasted, because I'd just have to re-copy and paste it every time I updated, and I'm too lazy. |
