Ever since Skyward Sword came out, I’ve wanted a pet Kikwi, but since they can’t be found outside of the Skyloft area, I’ll settle with a plushy. I haven’t had much luck in finding a Kikwi in plushy form, but luckily there’s a tutorial on Squareknot with step-by-step instructions on how to make a cute little cuddly Kikwi of your very own.
The sculpting technique you’ll use is called needle felting, and you can find all the necessary supplies (wool, needle felting pen, felting needle, and a mat) at most craft stores. This Kikwi was formed out of gold and white wool, but you can use any colors you like. Maybe I’ll go wild and make one that’s pink and purple. The guide seems simple enough, so I’ll have to give it a shot!
