On December 4, Nintendo announced that active Nintendo Switch Online members will be able to pre-order the Alarmo alarm clock starting sometime in mid-December 2024. The demand for the device has been so high that they had to limit pre-orders in Japan by utilizing a lottery system back in October.
Originally, general sales for Alarmo were scheduled to begin in mid-February 2025. Due to the unexpected volume of pre-orders vs. units made, Nintendo made the decision to delay the launch until an unspecified time. As soon as a timeline is determined for both pre-orders and general sales, Nintendo will release another announcement. For those lucky enough to secure a pre-order, Nintendo said that they now expect deliveries to begin in early February 2025.
