Last month Felix from the Nintendo Life YouTube channel started a let’s play of one of the most memorable entries in the Zelda series. Majora’s Mask was released for the Nintendo 64 in October 2000, a mere two years after the classic Ocarina of Time was released. While fans immediately noticed a large number of game assets in the direct sequel to Ocarina of Time, gaming journalism was at its infant stages, and gamers in general were a lot less critical of development choices. Despite a rushed development, Majora’s Mask was an instant hit, with its unique setting, story, and gameplay mechanics that made it stand out from other entries in the series even compared to modern-day entries like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
As someone who played Majora’s Mask when it first came out, I highly suggest you hop on the Nintendo Switch Online version and play this game on your own to get the full wonderful experience it has to offer. However, if you’ve played it before or if you simply don’t have the time, you can watch the playthrough below to show your support for this beloved classic.
