If you missed your chance to snag a Zelda-themed icon or two during Nintendo’s Breath of the Wild Switch Online event, don’t fret, as Tears of the Kingdom icon elements have been added as part of the Missions & Rewards scheme for Switch Online!
Featuring character art and screenshots from the new game, the Tears of the Kingdom icons will release in two waves, the first from May 11 through May 18, and the second from May 18 through May 25. It appears the icons will include Link, Zelda, Riju, Sidon, Tulin, and Ganondorf.
Players with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership can redeem My Nintendo Platinum Points for the custom icons. Icons cost ten points, while patterns and backgrounds cost five. Switch users can earn points daily by completing various tasks in the mission section. Aside from this, there are also several other Tears of the Kingdom rewards available for Platinum Points listed on Nintendo’s website.
