Nintendo is attending PAX East 2023

PAX East, one of the largest gaming conventions in North America, is returning to Boston, Massachusetts next month, and Nintendo will be in attendance as an exhibitor. The confirmation comes from the official PAX East website, which lists Nintendo as having their own booth at the event.

While there is currently no information as to what Nintendo will be showcasing, or if they will be doing any special presentations, it’s hard for Legend of Zelda fans not to get excited at their mere presence. We’re only a couple of weeks removed from the latest look at Tears of the Kingdom, and by the time PAX East rolls around, we’ll be less than two months from the release date for the upcoming game. With Nintendo reportedly opting out of E3 2023, and no other gaming convention of comparable prestige happening before Tears of the Kingdom’s May 12th release date, PAX East may just be Nintendo’s chosen event to demo the game and finally pull back the curtain on its gameplay and story.

Zelda Universe will also be in attendance at PAX East! Our staff is excited to be hosting the panel “Understanding the Zelda Timeline”, where we’ll dive into the chronology of the games and how their stories all tie together. The panel will be held on Friday, March 24th from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM EST inside the Albatross Theatre. It will be hosted by our very own Amanda VanHiel, Andrew Fick, Elias Thompson, Peyton Garrett, and Alex Trevino.

PAX East will run from March 23rd to the 26th and will be held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Further information for the event can be found on the PAX East website.
