We have barely had time to catch our collected breath from all of the great Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity news this weekend, and it’s already time to get ready for a new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character.
The official Nintendo YouTube channels already have placeholders for the stream. We’ve embedded the North American version as it gives an accurate timeframe for our followers there. Viewers who (for some reason) use “lift” instead of “elevator” can check out the UK stream.
In all seriousness, expect the stream to start at 7am PT / 9am Central / 3pm BST. The official Nintendo Twitter account says to expect a few minutes of footage, and a short message from Sakurai, so I wouldn’t hype up for another 40-minute info blast like we’ve been getting lately.
Leading up to the previous reveal, we already knew what game the character would be from, but this time we have absolutely zero information. It’s kind of exciting, right? Just please remember to keep expectations tempered. Whoever it is, somebody out there is going to be happy. Be happy for them!
Let’s just say, hypothetically, and because this is what site we are, it’s a Zelda character. Who do you think would be a great addition and why? I used to always be a big Skull Kid fan, but I think this time around I’m hoping for Daruk. Watching him in the new Hyrule Warriors footage was just a load of fun. Or Beedle. Always Beedle.
