That feeling of opening a treasure chest, hearing the familiar opening music, and finding rupees inside will soon be a reality, thanks to a new paperweight set that’s just been made available for pre-order.
The Legend of Zelda Paperweight 3-Pack Rupee Chest can now be pre-ordered from Forbidden Planet. It is due for release on July 30, 2018, and will cost £149.99 (approx. $208 USD / $266.50 AUD), however, it is currently discounted to £129.99 ($180.60 USD / $231 AUD).
This beautifully presented set consists of a treasure chest, which plays the classic “treasure chest opening” jingle when opened, and measures 25.5 x 15.5 x 17 cm (10″ x 6.1″ x 6.7″). Nested inside are three paperweights in the shape of rupees, one blue, one red, and one green. Each rupee weighs 400 g (14 ounces) and is 12.5 x 6.6 x 3.9 cm (5″ x 2.6″ x 1.5″) in dimension.
Although the rupees in this chest may only add up to 26 rupees (if we’re playing most Zelda games, such as Breath of the Wild), I have a feeling that it’s going to be a treasured addition to the collection of many a Zelda fan.
