Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be featured at Tokyo Game Show 2020

It’s not long now until the beginning of Tokyo Game Show 2020! The event kicks off on September 23 and will last until September 27, and like most events of late, TGS 2020 will be an online event due to ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be among the featured games at TGS 2020. Koei Tecmo has a time slot on September 26, where it will showcase Atelier Ryza 2 in the first half, and Age of Calamity in the second. This presentation is expected to consist of roughly 50 minutes of live gameplay, with more information scattered throughout for both titles.

You’ll be able to catch the stream on September 26 at 9pm Japanese Standard Time (5am PST/8am EST/1pm BST). Nintendo did promise more information about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity in its reveal trailer, so this must be what it was referring to. Nintendo games are rarely shown at TGS, so this is something truly exciting.

Hopefully, we’ll get a glimpse at playable characters, gameplay mechanics, and much more. If you’re interested in preordering Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, most retailers have started accepting preorders. This also includes the Nintendo eShop, which offers a Lucky Ladle weapon as a preorder bonus.

We’ll keep you updated with all the news that comes with this stream so stay tuned! Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity launches on November 20 for Nintendo Switch.
