Hello!
I first played Legend of Zelda on the Classic NES 20 years ago. Back in the spring of 1988, just out of college, I would stay up all night playing until exhausted. Fast forward to present day: I overheard some “young” colleagues in the software department at work talking about Zelda. I pined nostalgically to play the game again. Thinking I would never see it again, they told me about LoZ for Gamecube (Collector’s Edition). I bought the system and game and felt like a kid again! I got married late in life, and now have a son of my own, so I’m busily buying up as many older GC Zelda games as I can (I had no idea there were so many new games since 1988!).
Sorry the intro is so long! I’m sure I’ll have lots of questions later.  |

Welcome to the world of ZU my friend. Mu dad also had the original for the NES and still does. I got into it, and brought him back into it as well.

Man, I wasn't even alive yet back win the original LoZ came out xD For it's time it was stellar though, and it's still a very fun game to play. Do not pay attention to Erimgard. He doesn't know what he's talking about. I, on the other hand am a very experienced member and much superior to Erimgard and his cookies.
Oh, and welcome to ZU. I hope you enjoy your stay and all that. Wow, you've missed out a lot, I hear. Maybe you should look into getting a wii, since they have downloadable Zelda titles. But if you got Collector's edition, then that might not be reason enough. I dunno, just giving you a tip ;-) /Hombre de Mundo, your one and only Man of World

Solink, thanks for the newbie present! That looks like a sign you might see on route 375 on the way to area 51! Flying saucers have a way of causing accidents on the highway when they go invisible.
