hey guys :D

im new to these forums but im not new to the zelda games ^^
ive been playing zelda games since i was 5... maybe earlyer if we had it on the snes... anyways im pretty much a nintendo fanboy and after i stumbled across this site a few years ago i really liked it but only had the guts to join now so please help me around the forums and i hope to post in your threads ^^

You'll do just fine if you check through the ZU rules, and the more than helpful Newbies Guide to the Universe. Seriously, I still take a quick look at that guide every now and then.

If you're in need of some slightly more personal help, as in having somebody to help you privately with any questions about the forums, you should definitely post over in the Adoption thread. It's a great way to make a new friend, too.

In general, spam is really frowned on. You can get a warning or infractions put on your account if a moderator has to tell you repeatedly to stop spamming. Just make sure that your posts are on-topic (for whatever the thread is) and try to make them longer than a sentence. Posts that are less than a line will often get scrutinized.

Other than that, watch out for double-posting (just use the EDIT button if you need to add something to a post that you just made).

thanks sophie these forums are just like a different forums i use they are very strict about spamie posts and double-posting are these forums pretty strict too?

EDIT: :O are you a studio ghibli fan too?

I love Studio Ghibli films.




I wouldn't say that ZU has the strictest forums in the world. It's not like you have to get permission before any post is made visible. :XD But while you're new, you have to be a bit careful about the posts you make... and you get extra brownies for using capitalization and punctuation.



I'd say we're moderately strict. But it depends on who you ask.

Stay active, join a clan, make friends blah blah blah

with the studio ghibli films there is a new one but i missed out and i didn't see it (tales of earthsea) have you seen it? if you did is it good?

I don't think that Tales of Earthsea has made it over to the US yet. There are clips that have been posted on YouTube, but I'm waiting until I can get my hands on a full copy... if that means waiting until it's released in the US, I'll just wait.


You could look in the ZU Entertainment section ( --> Entertainment - Zelda Universe Forums ) and see if anybody has a recent thread about Ghibli films. And if there's no thread in the anime or movie section, you could always start one.
