New user

Hey all, I'm new to the forums. I've been a fan of Zelda since I bought Ocarina of Time at the end of seventh grade, as well as a Nintendo 64. Let's see...that would have been in about April or May 1998. Since then I've only gotten three other N64 games (Majora's Mask, Harvest Moon, and Wave Race) and the Zelda games got the most playing time. I've never played any of the earlier games, even on Game Boy (gasp!) so that must make me a "new" fan. Ah well, such is life. Although my family has owned each of the Nintendo systems at some point, except for the Game Boy, for some reason we never got any of the Zelda games. Mostly all the games we had were Mario games (which helped foster my passionate hate for anything Mario). I regard Ocarina of Time as the best video game ever made. Let's see..something about myself, instead of my gaming history. I am 17 years old and female...I can't remember if that's in my user information or not. I am a member of Outpost 10F, which is an interactive Star Trek/Star Wars/Fantasy chat community, where I am also known as Alec Solo. I live in the Midwestern United States, and that's as detailed as I'm going to get about that. I will be a senior in high school when school starts in the fall (wahh!). I play the flute in band, and I also play the piano. I play soccer too, but I suck at that so I might as well not even mention it. Horses are my greatest passion, and every summer I lease a horse through 4-H. Hehe, funny, I own all four of the N64 games you mentioned there, and then some! =P

I've played LttP and a couple of the earlier games, but I didn't really become a serious Zelda fan until I got OoT... that game is awesome! Still one of my faves! ^^;

Mute~ *l* Thank you. Harvest Moon is indeed a great game. Although I haven't yet had the luck of winning the horse race...oh well.
Also, I forgot to mention that I have a Gamecube, and an Air Force friend of mine who's in Korea for a year is letting me borrow his games. The ones I've played the most for the two weeks I've had them are Wind Waker, Star Wars Bounty Hunter, Super Smash Brothers Melee, and Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee. I also have Cubivore, Lost Kingdoms, Medal of Honor Front Line, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, and Rogue Leader, though I haven't played them much if at all except for Rogue Leader, which is actually my game and the only one I own. *L*

Well, I've been greeting the newcomers for awhile, and I've been commonly seeing one sentence spam posts asking how to get sigs and avatars to work. You actually told us about yourself!

Welcome to ZU. Read above for the rest of that statement...

The Avatar is added down at the bottom of the "edit options" section of the User CP, there's a link down there (on the right side, I think) to another page which has an "upload avatar" option. remember 90x90 pixels! If there's generic avys anymore...I couldn't find them. I think sig shops make them as well as sigs if you need one. I made my own, though.

EDIT: Had to change this since Kokiri Kid got to you before I could. If you've got an avatar, just put the URL into the right place so it'll show. If you're looking for one, I've actually got a few Spike ones if youre interested since it'd go with the sig:
