Like many others, I have been on this site for a long time now and never knew this thread existed. Oh well, here you go:

First, "Howdy" from a fellow Legend of Zelda fan.

By way of introductions, I was introduced to the Zelda series back when it was first introduced on the NES, and since, it has become one of my all-time favorite video game franchises -- for reasons that y'all probably know all-too-well already -- namely, the sense of high adventure that permeates the series, but that doesn't take itself so serious that it can't be outright "fun" in so many ways from start to finish. In addition, the characters are timeless (and "old friends"), as are the general themes present in the LoZ universe that make for a grand adventure time and again. So, you can bet that so long as Nintendo & Co. take pride in crafting excellent games surrounding the adventures of Link, Zelda, Midna, etc. that I'll continue to support the series & praise it's accomplishments.

Just beat Twilight Princess yesterday evening, so in addition to yacking about it in various threads, I look forward to seeing what perspectives y'all have on this game, the other Zelda titles, and future releases.

I got into the Legend of Zelda series through Super Smash Brothers; Link seemed interesting so I went out and got Ocarina of Time. Haven't looked back since.
After playing many other games of the series, I found myself bamboozled trying to work out the storyline order (or "timeline" as you have dubbed it). A quick Google search yielded this forum and here I am.
