If you want to learn how to write a story you need two things: Imagination and patience because it takes a while to write one unless you type fast! First you have to plan out your story, select you characters, where the stroy is being held and a plot with twists and turns to keep the reader interessed and keep on reading. Good luck!

Yo Gel55! Welcome to Zelda Universe! Check out the Newbie Guide in your top left-hand corner. And check out the Guidelines and actually read them, okay?
I'll be your "friend", but you don't really need friends on a forum, some people say it's n00by, but oh well. Remember to put time and effort into all of your posts. If you ever forget anything in your posts, go back and edit it, don't make a bunch of posts just because you forgot something, it's really annoying. Some people have forgotten how to use the edit button on ZU! Sheesh! Dude, you look like you could use a sig or av. Stop by one of the sig shops, it's in the General Chit-Chat sub-forum. Just post in on of the threads, but you have to look at the sigmaker's first post to see their examples to see if you like their style. Well, see you around I guess. Don't forget to stay stay active to post! But don't spam, people hate that.

Usually you don't put up an advertisement for a friend, but it seems to be working. I'd say "I'll be your friend," but by now it's redundant (and besides, I'm friends with everyone!)
I also agree with PsychoChik4Life. You really need a avatar and possibly a sig.

Well, to find a good ZU friend,. find someone who thinks about the same way you do and/or has something in common with you that you can relate. (Just like the real world.
 )Try looking in the chit-chat board in things asociated with likes and dislikes, and you can probably find someone there. Also try to get you post count up. (it gives you respectability and noteriety)

Since your obviously a little, lost newb, first things first: never make threads asking for friends. It's quite spammy and you won't ever gain any true friends this way. The only way to gain true friends is judged on you attitude. Oh yeah, and read the rules, yada, yada....

Also, a great way to make friends is to put yourself up for adoption. You'll learn the ropes around ZU on what and what not to do, and you will also make friends while you're at it. The link for the adoption center is right here.
