Joplin Missouri

No flashy title. I'm from Joplin and moved up here in 2002. I bring this up because my parents were tilling about my old school and how it was badly damaged. My mom worked at that hospital, and my old neighborhood is completly gone. What do you think?

Hes talking about the tornado back in may. It killed 156 (the deadliest tornado in 50 years) and left thousands homeless. Guys please be a little more sensitive next time. It was a traumatic experience for many people.

Yeah, but it's in the new members board, and the OP has no "Hey I'm new!" sentence in it at all, so this thread is kinda irrelevant to the category's purpose.

I need an explanation why this is in the new member's board.. I know it was moved but I think this should be in general chit-chat, and then make a different thread for an intro.

I was at work and improperly read over the thread. Your OP was hopelessly vague, no one outside of the US could have known what you were talking about. I read the sentence "I came here from" and rashly interpreted it as an introduction thread.

Again my apologies. I have already contacted the mod in charge of this board to lock this topic. If you like, you can make a new thread about this again in the Serious Discussion board, however your OP will need to be much more clear, detailed and contain a link to this accident, so that people actually know what you are talking about.
