What is Your Fave Dungeon in ALttP

**** MISERY MIRE. Up the ass.
I HATED that dungeon! It's so damn confusing that I always end up spending a minimum of two hours in it!

I liked Ganon's Tower. Tough, but at least I knew where the **** I was and where I was going!

Turtle Rock by a slim margin over Ganons Tower.
Both offer up a pretty good challenge.....

Gotta be Turtle Rock. All the floaty platform puzzles, and the boos at the end is brilliant, loved it. Don't remember finding it too hard though.

Ice palace becuase it was the hardest for me. Or the palace of the four sword if you count that.

Haha I'm glad Misery Mire is getting no votes. I hated that dungeon so much! And Turtle Rock was my favourite Dark World Dungeon, so I'm glad it's so loved

I would have to say the Ice Palace. Turtle Rock was cool, but it was easier than it seemed to be at first glance, while still managing to be tedious. Ice Palace requires some thinking... Also the feel of the Ice Palace (due no doubt to the look)... very cool.

Turtle Rock would have to be my favorite, I don't know, it just seemed really cool.

Turtle Rock. That was a tough sumbich when I was little. But that's what made it fun.

Also loved Ganon's Tower.

I personally would have to say that I liked the Ice Temple the best. Ganon's castle being a close second...both of them were quite confusing to me at first, but really fun to figure out.

I was going to choose Turtle Rock but i picked Light World dungeon instead. Something about the Tower of Hera was just awesome!

i cant answer this... i have never played this game but i must have got lucky because i found the game at a used game store for the game boy advance(along with four swords) and i just started playing it and so far i like the first two temples... thats all i have played so far.

It gets kinda tough at certain points. But it's worth it. >_<

Think I'll have to go with Blind's Hideout. The dungeon itself may be a bit dull compared to many others, but the "finding Blind puzzle" makes it truly unique.

My favorite dungeon is the Ice Palace. I liked it's icy theme. The enemy's were cool, the boss was somewhat hard to beat. The item you get, is cool, a new tunic FTW! The color scheme, really nice in that dungeon, although it was the same everywhere, I just felt it to be nicer.

This is one of my favorite elements, ice so I like it for that, too. I don't think it's difficulty was surpassed by any dungeon but Ganon's Tower. Point taken, I like this dungeon a lot.

Misery mire pissed me off. But beating that sumbich without cheating made me feel GRRRREAT!!!

On one hand, Ganon's Tower starts off with pretty confusing, yet very clever movement between two spaces, both in the underground sections of the Tower and then moves into some really fantastic action in the upper floors, making for an overall challenging dungeon in both ways. ...y'know, the more I think about it, the more I realise how well built and deeply structured Turtle Rock is in comparison to Ganon's Tower. The Tower might be very challenging in both ways, but it still keeps it very straight-forward and simple. Turtle Rock, however, is complex and keeps you checking the map and trying to navigate properly, but yet not overly so. Combine that with the great boss, and you've easily got the best dungeon in the game!

Speaking of complex dungeons, the Ice Palace actually does beat Ganon's Tower, too, for the exact same reasons as Turtle Rock does, right down to the bloody boss!

Maaaan, back in the day they'd actually be able to create marvelous dungeons WITHOUT every other puzzle revolving around the item you find in said dungeon. Hell, they'd even create complex dungeons without having to resort to all these awfully gimmicky puzzles they do these days! They really need to combine the complex designs from back in the day (ALttP and LA's especially, those two really excel at that) with them puzzles they have today!
