No, you don't need much, if any, programming knowledge to make a game with ZC.

Did you check for a Windows download?

Just look down a bit. Some are different systems.

whats the problem everyone is havin'. I just downloaded it and opened it. maybe other ppl have cheap computers. haha I did have a problem playing zelda 1 on it. the whole screen would be black and only the top portion of my screen would show.

I highy doubt it nearly ruined your computer.

I don't know what's going on, but I have never had a problem with ZC2.10 and only a few problems with the 2.5 betas.

I had it on my old computer. I always played the aLttP style one, but there was a glitch that wouldn't let me carry bombs, and when I needed them there was no way to continue.

zelda classic is pretty cool, the game editing feature could be used to make a game be like this

Playing ZeldaClassic with the wii classic controller is th best way to play it. If you have a way to connect bluetooth devices, a wii remote, and glovePIE

What the hey? I never heard o this one.

It reminds me of an online game I used to play, called Graal Online. It was essentially Alttp clone, online, and it used to be called Zelda online. I haven't played it in ages, because I think they now charge money for the ability to save your progress, and it's changed so much since my last visit ( but I assume they kept the Graal Classic server )

I used it for a long time, played a lot of custom quests and made my own uber-long one... Then I switched computers and lost the super-file, and kind of lost interest after that. It's too bad, I really liked my quest.
