Zelda II Tech Demo

So Zelda II could've had its own remake on the SNES, like the first LoZ. Wonder why it never went through.

I think it might be because Zelda II wasn't nearly as well received by the general public. I personally loved it but most people like to whine about how it's too hard.

It also would have been a lot more difficult with a timer.

Maybe they wanted to release new Zelda games, not just remakes.

It's probaably because that they would've needed to make moany improvements to the game to take it from the 6 bit NES to the 8 bit SNES. But if they did do that I ould've loved to see it!

Because it was probably never intended to be anything more than a tech demo.

Well it's not too late for an AoL sequel (gameplaywise, not storywise). There are a lot of AoL fans out there and Nintendo could make it for WiiWare. This way they could make a quick buck and they would make me very happy.
