...I've never actually played ALTtP

I was gonna play it but I never got the chance to borrow it from my friend.

Can anyone tell me the basic story in it without giving me any huge spoilers? I just wanna know how Link embarks on his journey. That's all

Moved to NES/SNES Zelda.

As the message closes, Link finds his uncle ready for battle, telling Link to remain in bed. After his uncle leaves, however, Link ignores his uncle's command and follows him to Hyrule Castle.

When he arrives, he finds his uncle seriously wounded. Link's uncle tells Link to rescue Princess Zelda from her prison, giving him a sword and shield. After his uncle passes out, Link navigates the castle and rescues Zelda from her cell, and the two escape into a secret passage through the sewers that leads to a sanctuary.

Basic story:

Ganondorf was cast into the Golden Realm in OOT, this follows that storyline. Haven't heard from him since.

Wizard called Agahnim has taken over the power in Hyrule and is systematically capturing all the decedents of the legendary Zelda and sages of the world. His goal is of course the Triforce. Zelda is the last one left, sends a telepathic message to Link. Now up to Link to find a few sweet items and defeat Agahnim.

That's your basic story. It becomes MUCH more complicated than this later on (which makes the story that much more awesome) but essentially you have what you need to start.

I highly suggest playing this game, it is more than worth it.

In the Golden Realm you must journey to rescue the seven maidens.Then they will open the path to Ganon you go and defeat him.
This game is more than worth it.I'm only trying to rescue the seventh maiden near the end of the game
I can alreadt tell Ganon's fight is gonna be awesome.
