My horrible OS(vista) doesn't support fullscreen dos, so i cannot use them on my laptop. I have a desktop I can use them on (it uses XP), but i haven't had time to move them to that yet, and i kinda don't want to use a family computer for my own personal project, cause seom ***hole may just decide to delete it. I'll get it working. Thank you for offering to help.

Thanks! there was an orange stripe i found in link's hat, and then i thought about santa! YAY! (sorry, I'm a little excited about christmas) So i changed it white. As for the zoom, it depends on the program you are viewing the pics in. I'm sorry i didn't expand them before posting. I could of also cut out links house, but I'm lazy. I can't even capitalize all the "i"s i type.

Hello and let me welcome you to
ZU. I noticed this is your first post. If you don't know how rom files, or emulators work yet, you might want to look into it. I'm not making a program, I'm hacking a rom file that can be run on a program. It is not OS specific. and even if it was, I wouldn't waste my time to make it run on a mac. But I'm not going to turn this thread into a PC vs. Mac. if you don't have it already, check out parallels. It's a bit pricey, but it turns your piece of crap mac into something that runs PC software. As my friend says, "It's a PC emulator on a computer emulator." No offence Mac users, Vista is no better.
It is nice to see people are still learning of this. I think it is funny that I started with the original
LOZ and we managed to change the project into
LOZ:LTTP. I have thought of some problems that will arise in the single screen display. Not all areas are a simple square. Some, such as kakariko village, are an enormous map that scrolls. It seems no matter how i go about doing this, I will have to reprogram the display functioning. I'll probably make it follow characters evenly, so they can't move too far one way without the others following. OR, i could make the screen zoom out. Though that sounds like it would be more difficult to do, and then players won't be able to see as well, plus the processor might not be able to handle it. I've never had to reprogram a screen disply function, so I have no idea how simple, or complex it may be. Once again, We'll burn that bridge when we get there, right? Catch you guys, later!
