The Most Annoying Boss LOZ original (Besides Gannon)

~ Well I my self havent played the Original NES Legend Of Zelda game since back in '94

but for meh the 2nd dundeong boss was completeley annoying..
maybe I wasn't thinking clearly at the time, cause i was SOO Angry from getting the "GAME OVER" screen


So whats your opinion on the MOST ANNOYIN BOSS in

The boss you are referring to is Dodongo.

Personally, Manhandla can be a little annoying. If you place your bomb perfectly you can kill him quick. But if you miss or are a little off he gets quicker and more difficult to hit.

I agree with you, Sherm: Manhandla was probably the most aggravating.

Eh? Probably Gleeok was the hardest for me. Stupid fireballs...

I say Gleeok, Manhandla was never a problem for me.

Mothla for me but i like to fight him even though I like die4 before I kill him.

for me the most dificult boss is the fifth boss of AOL

The mini-boss of the sixth dungeon was the hardest for me so far. The actual boss of the sixth dungeon was even easier than the FIRST boss. Shoot it in the eye ONCE with an arrow and POOF, it dies. =_=

I'm at the seventh dungeon right now, and so far it has been a heck of a lot easier than the sixth dungeon. The sixth dungeon is just insanely difficult with those damn Wizrobe's.

What're you talking about Ganon was easy... You could also kill manhandla in ne hit with a bomb...

No the most annoying for me was Gleeok... damn fireballs, and bombs not affecting it...

They weren't "bosses", but Blue Darknuts. Add that, plus about 7 hearts and a crapload of them in a cramped room, easily a tough place.

What are Blue Darknuts?

Either Manhandla or Digdogger. Not that they were really that difficult or anything but they were probably the hardest in the game, in my opinion, and think that because they move around a lot, and can be hard to hit, atleast for me.

So we can't count Ganon, huh? Man, all you can do in that fight is slash around and hope for the best.

I played through the game recently, and very fw bosses were difficult.

The first and seventh boss is easy if you have sword beams. The second and third are killed quickly with one or two bombs. The sixth is killed with one arrow. The fifth can be hard to hit, but is otherwise simple.

The eigth is probably the hardest boss. Four heads, and nearly impossible to keep from being damaged. Though the best part of the dungeons is getting to the bosses, more than the fights themselves. Ninty has made some improvements on bosses since then, but most are still fairly easy once you know the trick.

I wouldn't call any boss annoying except for Ganon.

I think Nintendo was confused when they made the boss for the sixth dungeon. The one where you shoot in the eye just once with an arrow. That should have been the mini-boss. Either that or they shouldn't of had ANY mini-boss. But no, they did... And it was that awful Gleeok thing with three heads. And that was the MINI-boss? Damn. The dungeon with all them Wizzrobe's was hard enough! Then the actual BOSS of the sixth dungeon was the easiest boss in the GAME!

And what's up with the FIRST boss being the SEVENTH boss as well? It didn't change in difficulty or anything. Nintendo was smoke'n something.

To be honest, Gohma can only be destroyed by arrows. so if you didn't find the bow in level 1, you'd be stuck. Still, it should have been like the blue gohmas in level 9.

I don't know what's up with aquamentus being the seventh boss, and being just as easy as the first time you fight it. They didn't even change the attack to prevent you from standing safely away and attackig freely.

It's obvious the difficulty of the game is meant to be finding the dungeons and getting to the bosses. Not fighting the bosses. Of course, it does make them anti climactic.

Level nine was a masterpiece of a labarynth, if I do say so myself.

You're right about Gohma, and I thought of that myself. I think at least, that it should of been hit in the eye at least 4 times, or something.

Bosses should ALWAYS be climatic.

(An element of which TP also did not have. )

Manhandla (I call it Man-handler) I could never master the bomb trick, so I had to put up with it's erratic movements after you cut away three of it's hands

It's half skill and half luck, because the thing moves at random. Kind of like Moldorm:

Aquamentus was a pushover

Dodongo was easy, but got annoying later on, when encountered in groups

Manhandla was kinda annoying, but I've certainly seen worse

Gleeok was my favorite. 'Nuf said

Digdogger was a puxhover

Gohma was pretty easy

Ganon was a pain in the ass. I would've said him, if he were an option

Oh yes, what a true thing indeed. Gleeok was the best one of them all, he was. Though the later incarnations arent as great as the original, Phantom Hourglass' comes close...

Dodongos are so very cuute when they eat the bombs and 'splode in their chubby awesomeness.
