Tips for AoL

I'm playing AoL now :S.

I was wondering what tips people could give. Cause it's a stinking hard game! I've beaten the first dungeon, and on my way to the second.

I don't think I like it that much, but I still want to beat it.

I guess one tip that comes to mind is don't get all the extra lives until you're ready to go to the Great Temple or you will waste them-- I think it's harder to get to the Great Temple than to beat the Great Temple.

Use the Flute to make the Boss Dig Doger small so you can do damage to him also the boss Gleerock transforms once one head gets Destored so prepare for the hardest bosses to come!

Wrong game.......

Try to level up before progressing to0 far in the game. I would recommend fighting overworld enemies and building up my attack/life levels because the game gets insanely hard the further you go.

YES! As tedious as it'll be, it will help you out in the long run!

1. Grind - just kill easy enemies to lvl up. Trust me.
2. Don't get the extra lives until the great temple.

Help for Great temple
1.Learn how to get to the boss before picking up any lives.
2.Don't fight enemies. try to run right pass them. They will kill you even with max stats.
3.There is a giant blue blob thing near the boss. Killing it will get you a lot of little blobs, they drop magic. If you go away and come back, the blob will be there again. Use this to refill magic and health.

I used a map to get past death mountain. I also got the downward thrust before I got the hammer.

So do the extra lives on;y stay with you when you get them? Then if you die and gameover, you only have the starting amount?

Is there any other way to save the game besides having to die?

And what do you guys mean when you say getting or picking up lives? Is this regarding to the level ups when you choose a status upgrade? Because I just got to 3 with the Life Status... Should I have done that? I just beat the first boss. O_0

Once you get them and lose them, they are gone forever. Even after starting from a game over. They are one-time use.
