alttp mod?

brand new here, apologies if im completely out of line.

i remember running across a "hacked" version of alttp several years ago. someone had taken the original game, tweaked the hell out of it, and created a brand new game that was about fifty times harder. ive been trying to refind it. does this ring any bells to anyone?

sorry, i cant remember much else about it.

I'm sure if someone did find it, it would be completely against the rules to post it on this site. We don't allow users to post links to ROMs and other copyrighted material, you see.
